Soulmates

WE are duplicate souls, one and the same;
Traveled many long paths through time and space;
Lived many lives apart, and together;
Expanded eachother one to another;
Yet in the end there is only one thought:
WE are the same body, left and right;
WE are the same heartbeat, bump-bump-bump;
WE are the same everything, yin and yang;
Me to you, you to me, truly WE are WE!

The term “soulmate” is usually used to mean any person with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, love, intimacy, sexual attraction, and compatibility. Some people believe that there can only be one soulmate, and that they are destined to spend their lives searching for this unique individual.

I think of a soulmate as the other half of a twin flame – the other half of myself.   This is the being that would energetically match me so completely as to be a mirror image. Her thoughts become my thoughts, her pain my pain, her joy my joy, and her heart my heart. In short, we aren’t just in synch with eachother…we ARE eachother – ultimate affinity. 

I do not know whether this condition would be unique to only one other person.  I only know that this would be the ideal relationship.  This is what I am driven to search out and create with another of like mind.

Now I know that this isn’t the Ultimate Truth, because every soul is by nature a static individual, not a composite of something else. And I don’t really believe in Karma and Fate and such things. However, I believe in an idea – that a bond can be created, and that bond can transcend time and all other barriers of the physical universe. To me this is True Love, and in my philosophy it does conquer all.
